Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a Safe Harbor Adoption cost?

Kitten (unaltered)	$20
Cat (spayed/neutered)	$50
Cat - Declawed	$75
Dog	$100

Safe Harbor Adoption fee is payable at the time of the adoption and must be accompanied by a signed and dated adoption application. The Fee is non-refundable. If, within 30 days, you must return your adopted pet, you will receive an exchange valid for one year from the date of the return. Exchanges are limited to one exchange per paid adoption.

What is included in the adoption fee?

Your adoption fee includes the following:

• the cat with a recent FVRCP (feline distemper, rhino tracheitis, calicivirus, leukemia, rabies)
• A spayed or neutered cat/dog

What if it doesn't work out?

We want you to be happy with your new companion. If at any time you feel you are unable to provide a home for your pet, please call Safe Harbor and arrange for a return/exchange. Exchanges are limited to one exchange per paid adoption. Adoption fees are non-refundable.
